2020 Thanksgiving Day Run

Many started off their Thanksgiving Day holiday with a run and attended the COX Running Club Thanksgiving Day Run at Panther Island Pavilion on November 26, 2020.

Runners enjoyed the great weather that morning! They had the option to enter into the 5K, 10K, or half-marathon. The Thanksgiving Day Run was able to celebrate the holiday in style at Panther Island Pavilion for another successful event. Can’t wait until next year.

2020 Oktoberfest Fort Worth Festival Canceled

2020 Oktoberfest Fort Worth Festival Canceled

Authentic German festival returns to The Shack at Panther Island Pavilion, September 23-25, 2021.

FORT WORTH, TX— Recently recognized by Fort Worth Magazine as the 2020 Reader’s Choice for “Best Festival”, Oktoberfest Fort Worth, has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions on large-scale gatherings, and concerns for the health and well-being of all involved.

“The health and safety of not only festival patrons but also staff, vendors, musicians, and volunteers was our top priority in making this difficult decision,” said Shanna Cate, Tarrant Regional Water District Director of Programming. “Oktoberfest Fort Worth has quickly become a staple event for Fort Worth and we look forward to bringing back this authentic German festival in 2021.”

The festival will be back with plenty of bier, brats, live music, shopping and dancing September 23-25, 2021. Danke to the sponsors, vendors, musicians and volunteers who contribute to the festival each and every year, the festival could not take place without them.
